Keep On Runnin

Just got back from a few days chilling in Auckland (pleasantly free of internet technology, thank you very much). Touched down in Welli on Saturday night, to be greeted with the amazing sight of a hazy sunset with flickering lights and fireworks exploding across the hills of the city. The joy became tinged with sadness, as I woke up to the sad news.

I know you will rest in peace Rod, I can only hope that before you died, you had an opportunity to reflect and appreciate the amount of respect you had from so many New Zealanders - even from those who were your harshest critics.
